GUBBIO – Si è ufficialmente aperta questo pomeriggio (venerdì 28 ottobre), la 35°edizione della Mostra Mercato del Tartufo che si tiene in piazza Grande fino al 1 novembre.
Un evento al quale hanno partecipato molti rappresentanti istituzionali, che dopo aver tagliato il nastro, hanno visitato gli stand locali e provenienti da varie zone d’Italia, ma anche la mostra dell’artigianato artistico locale che si trova in via Baldassini.
Il sindaco Filippo Mario Stirati ha ringraziato i presenti ed invitato tutti a partecipare nonostante gli eventi sismici degli ultimi giorni: “Prima di tutto saluto cordialmente tutte le autorità civili e militari presenti. È un momento particolare per la nostra regione e la nostra comunità, sono vicino e solidale alle popolazioni toccate dalle vicende sismiche degli ultimi giorni.
Il nostro impegno è quello di mandare un grande messaggio di fiducia, di tranquillità, di accoglienza. La nostra città è assolutamente salda nelle sue pietre, nei suoi monumenti, nel suo impianto museale, in tutta l’offerta che può fornire e mettere a disposizione di chiunque”.

Mauro Severini, commissario liquidatore della Comunità Montana Alto Chiascio, ha voluto anch’egli salutare tutti i presenti: “Ringrazio la nostra struttura che è riuscita a realizzare una bella manifestazione.
Devo dire che, forse per la prima volta, il Comune ha avuto un ruolo molto significativo, soprattutto nelle non poche iniziative collaterali alla mostra. Mi complimento con il Comune che ha saputo dare un grande contributo e sta cominciando a prendere in mano la gestione”.
L’assessore regionale Fernanda Cecchini ha affermato: “Saluto gli eugubini, tutti gli espositori, grazie per aver organizzato, in un momento non semplice, una mostra che dà la possibilità di tenere insieme le comunità. Questa non è una festa, è una fiera e quindi non ci dobbiamo sentire in colpa se ci sono nostri corregionali che in questi giorni si trovano in seria difficoltà”.
Al termine dell’inaugurazione è stato consegnato il premio per il tartufo più grande a Germano Picchi dello stand “Giuliano Tartufi”, che se l’è aggiudicato con un tartufo di ben 832g.

Opening Ceremony of the Truffle Exhibition
The 35th edition of the Show Market of the Hypocrite has officially opened, this afternoon, the exhibition will be held in Great Plaza up to November 1. It was an event in which many institutional representatives have participated, who, after having cut the ribbon, have visited the local stands and coming from various zones of Italy, but also the show of the local artistic craftsmanship that is found at the via Baldassini.
The mayor Filippo Mario Stirati has thanked the presents and guest all to participate despite the seismic events of the last days: “First of all regard cordially all the civil authorities and present soldiers. It is a particular moment for our region and our community, I am nearby to the populations touched by neighbour by the seismic stories of the last days. Our appointment both that to send a great message of trust, of calm, of reception. Our city is absolutely firm in its stones, in its monuments, in its museums, in the whole offer that can furnish and to make of whoever available“.

Also the regional councillor Fernanda Cecchini has expressed two words regarding this day: “Regard the citizens of Gubbio, all the exhibitors, thank you for having organized, in a non simple moment, a show that gives the possibility to hold together the communities. This is not a party, it is a fair and therefore we must not feel us in guilt if there are some inhabitants of Umbria that in these days it is found in serious difficulty“.
Smacchi e Giulietti alla Mostra del Tartufo
At the end the prize has been delivered for the greatest truffle that has been awarded Germano Picchi of the stand “Giuliano Tartufi” with a truffle of well 832g.
