GUBBIO – Un Magi deciso e convinto della propria squadra quello che si è presentato alla conferenza stampa di vigiLia del match Gubbio-Padova.
In primis l’allenatore ha fatto il punto sulla situazione infortuni in quanto sulla lista dei convocati, oltre a Daniele Ferri Marini, non appaiono neanche Lunetta e Kalombo: “Sono entrambi molto importanti per noi, ma vista anche l’assenza di Ferri Marini, la nota più negativa è l’indisponibilità di Lunetta, il suo naturale sostituto, che ha preso una botta alla pianta del piede che non gli permette né di appoggiarlo, né di camminare bene”.
Parlando della formazione di sabato, il mister ha analizzato le possibili varianti, soprattutto a centrocampo e sul possibile tridente di attacco: “A centrocampo abbiamo giocatori con caratteristiche differenti: Giacomarro è molto dinamico, ha molta corsa e un ottimo tiro. Rappresenta quella quantità che completa un centrocampo di qualità. Romano si è adattato molto bene come play, è una soluzione in più che possiamo adottare.

Quando giocano lui e Croce insieme abbiamo una sorta di doppio play e può servire in certi soluzioni. Può capitare che possano giocare assieme alternandosi nei ruoli di play e mezz’ala o che ci sia una staffetta tra di loro. Ho la possibilità di scegliere, poiché i miei centrocampisti possono ricoprire tutti i ruoli in mezzo al campo, devo essere bravo a fare scelte che siano utili alla squadra ad ottenere il risultato.
Sul tridente offensivo, ci sono delle scelte più forzate, nel senso che l’alternativa vera come centravanti è Musto, anche qui la fortuna che gli altri attaccanti possono tranquillamente giocare o come seconda punta o come punta esterna”.
Sulla partita con il Padova il pensiero del mister è chiaro: “Domani dipenderà più dal nostro atteggiamento che dalla loro forza. Dovremo essere bravi a vivere la partita con più equilibrio rispetto alla Sambenedettese, lì eravamo stati troppo attendisti il primo tempo e troppo arrembanti nel secondo. Dovremo far tesoro di questo, stare bene in campo, se riusciremo a fare bene questo, avremo grandi possibilità di fare un risultato positivo. Non dobbiamo concedere nulla, se il Padova vuole vincere, dovrà dimostrare di essere nettamente superiore a noi”.

I have the chance to choose because my players can play all the roles in the midfield, I have to take the best decisions for my team to obtain a positive result. Talking about the offensive trident, I have a more forced choice, in the sense that the only alternative as centre-forward is Musto. I am lucky also here because my strikers can play well in the other roles”.
About the tomorrow match, the thought of coach Magi is clear: “Tomorrow will depend more on our attitude than on their strength. We have to live the match with more balance than in the match against Sambenedettese, in that match we were to much wait-and-see in the first half and too much bold in the second half. We will learn from it, play well in the field, if we do it well, we will great chances to make a good result. We will not concede nothing, if Padova wants to win, it will demonstrate to be significantly higher than us”.
