Il sottosegretario Ilaria Borletti Buitoni: “Sono stata da poco a Gubbio per il Festival del Medioevo e oggi sono tornata per quest’importantissima manifestazione di arte contemporanea e moderna. Significa che questa città è capace di fare cultura, valorizzando le proprie radici e la propria identità con uno sguardo preciso anche a quello che avviene oggi, anche a quello che avverrà domani”

GUBBIO – Si è aperta ufficialmente sabato 15 ottobre a Palazzo Ducale la 26° edizione della Biennale di Scultura di Gubbio, che rimarrà aperta al pubblico fino al 15 gennaio 2017. Moltissime persone hanno partecipato all’evento, che è iniziato con una conferenza stampa seguita dal taglio del nastro tricolore.
Aprendo la conferenza stampa il sindaco Filippo Mario Stirati ha espresso tutta la sua soddisfazione per questa mostra: “Con grande piacere possiamo dire di aver portato a compimento un grande progetto che da lustro alla nostra città, e che la rimette in collegamento con una delle sue più grandi, splendide e prestigiose tradizioni.
Abbiamo voluto contemperare un’operazione che avesse la capacità di ripercorrere la storia critico artistica di questa nostra tradizione ed è questa la ragione per cui sono presenti il Prof. Crispolti, il Prof. Bonomi ed il Prof. Corà. Abbiamo voluto anche la presenza di giovani talenti, inaugurando nuovamente la tradizione di un premio, di una promozione delle giovani leve del settore artistico, in collaborazione con le più importanti botteghe artigiane”.

Anche la Regione Umbria era presente con l’assessore alla cultura Fernanda Cecchini: “Come istituzioni ci siamo perché ci interessa. È la prima volta che vengo in questo Palazzo, è un immenso piacere entrare qui dentro e a dir la verità sono grata ogni giorno di fare questo mestiere che è pieno di tante fatiche, ma che mi da la possibilità di girare l’Umbria. Nonostante sono anni che faccio questo mestiere, ogni giorno scopro qualcosa di veramente unico, importante e bello”.
Non solo erano presenti le più importanti istituzioni locali o regionali, ma anche l’onorevole Ilaria Borletti Buitoni, sottosegretario del Ministero dei Beni culturali, che ha voluto spendere due parole per questa importante mostra: “Porto i saluti dell’onorevole Dario Franceschini, Ministro dei Beni Culturali, che era molto dispiaciuto di non essere qui. Sono stata da poco a Gubbio per il Festival del Medioevo e oggi sono tornata per quest’importantissima manifestazione di arte contemporanea e moderna.

Significa che questa città è capace di fare cultura, valorizzando le proprie radici e la propria identità con uno sguardo preciso anche a quello che avviene oggi, anche a quello che avverrà domani. La collaborazione fa bene alle comunità, alle culture e fa tanto bene al nostro Paese”.
Durante la cerimonia sono stati consegnati i premi al miglior bozzetto tra i giovani talenti, opera che una volta realizzata verrà situata al Parco Ranghiasci e il premio “Nuove Presenze” tra i 16 artisti della mostra. I vincitori sono stati rispettivamente Vincenzo Napolitano dell’Accademia di Torino ed Eduard Habicher.

The 26° edition of the Biennale exhibition of sculpture in Ducal Palace, has opened officially today, Saturday 15th October, show that will be open up to 15th January2017. A lot of people have participated in the event that has previewed a press conference, followed by the cut of the ribbon that has officially opened the show to all the presents.
Opening the press conference, the Mayor Filippo Mario Stirati has expressed all of his satisfaction for this show: “With great pleasure we can say to have brought a great project to conclusion that give evidence to our city and that puts again it in connection with one of its greatest, splendid and prestigious traditions.
We have wanted to adapt an operation that had the ability of retracing the critical-artistic history of this tradition of ours and it is this the reason for which the Prof. Crispolti, the Prof. Bonomi and the Prof. Corà are present. We have also wanted the presence of young talents, again inaugurating the tradition of a prize, of a promotion of the young levers of the artistic sector, in collaboration with the most important artisan shops”.

Also the Region Umbria was present with the councillor to the culture Fernanda Cecchini: “As institutions we are here because that interests us. It is the first time that I come in this Palace, it is an immense pleasure to enter here inside and to say the truth.
I am thankful every day to make this work that is full of so many works, but that gives me the possibility to turn Umbria to 360° degrees. Despite they are years that I do work, every day I discover something of really only, important and beautiful“.
Not only the most important local or regional institutions were present, but also Ilaria Borletti Buitoni, state undersecretary of the Ministry of the Cultural Goods, that has wanted to spend two words for this important exhibition: “I bring Honorable Dario Franceschini’s regards, Minister of the Cultural Goods, that it was very been sorry not to be here. I have been from few to Gubbio for the Festival of the Medioevo and today I have returned for this important demonstration of contemporary and modern art.

It means that this city is able of to do culture, also promoting its own roots and its own identity with a precise look to what happens today, also to what will happen tomorrow. The collaboration does well to the communities, to the cultures and is so much good to our Country“.
During the ceremony the prizes have been delivered to the good sketch among the young talents, work that once realized, it will be placed to the Park Ranghiasci and the prize “New Presences” among the 16 artists of the show. The winners have respectively been Vincenzo Napolitano of the academy in Turin and Eduard Habicher.
