Monsignor Mario Ceccobelli: “Custodiamo questo tesoro che ci viene consegnato oggi, il tesoro di una tradizione antica, della fede perché la fede ci consente questi collegamenti e di sentirci contemporanei a quei tempi”

GUBBIO – Quest’anno ricorre il 1600°anniversario della Lettera Decretale del 416 d.C. inviata da papa Innocenzo I al vescovo di Gubbio Decenzio. Oggi, venerdì 21 ottobre, alla Biblioteca Sperelliana è stato presentato e consegnato al vescovo Mario Ceccobelli il rifacimento in copia unica di questa importante lettera.
All’evento era presente il sindaco Filippo Stirati, che ha voluto anche sottolineare quanto sia importante il rapporto tra Amministrazione comunale e Diocesi: “Penso che questi 1600 anni dalla Decretale del 416 siano stati onorati dal punto di vista culturale attraverso una magnifica iniziativa che è stata quella dell’esposizione al Museo civico di Palazzo dei Consoli.
Non dobbiamo dimenticare le giornate liturgiche di agosto che hanno arricchito il panorama religioso-spirituale, ma anche culturale della città, nella quale abbiamo assistito a degli interventi di carattere ideologico, spirituale, dottrinale di grandissimo spessore.

Sono grato alla Diocesi e a tutti coloro che hanno accompagnato questo anno speciale in tutti i suoi momenti liturgici e spirituali. Ho apprezzato la proposta di portare avanti insieme queste iniziative, molte delle quali sono state frutto della perfetta sinergia tra Comune e Diocesi.
La Decretale ha rappresentato un momento importante della storia liturgica e del rapporto tra i pontefici e le Diocesi della nostra nazione. Credo che non ci fosse ciliegia sulla torta migliore di questo splendido dono che rappresenta una grande capacità di interpretare la città, le sue tradizioni, la sua manualità e al tempo stesso ci consente di dare un segno indelebile ad un anno speciale che abbiamo vissuto con grande partecipazione ed un coinvolgimento pieno della città”.

Il vescovo Mario Ceccobelli ha ringraziato tutti per questo dono e per la sua importanza: “Grazie perché quest’opera è un piccolo tesoro, stiamo valutando per trovarle la giusta collocazione. Gubbio è una città che ha saputo manifestare le arti, questa è l’ultima opera di un’artista della nostra città. È l’opera di un’istituzione preziosa Una Luna che porta avanti quest’arte.
Ringrazio di cuore per quest’opera che rimarrà a noi come collegamento con la lettera famosa di papa Innocenzo I. Il mio grazie va anche all’Amministrazione comunale per il supporto per quest’anno intenso. Custodiamo questo tesoro che ci viene consegnato oggi, il tesoro di una tradizione antica, della fede perché la fede ci consente questi collegamenti e di sentirci contemporanei a quei tempi”.
Come ha spiegato la presidente dell’associazione Una Luna Anna Buoninsegni, l’opera, prodotta dall’amanuense Roberta Giacconi, è composta da 16 pagine su carta di cotone che è stata sottoposta ad un processo di anticazione. È stato utilizzato un inchiostro color seppia e i ritocchi sono decori che riproducono in maniera precisa l’originale.

The Mayor Filippo Stirati was present to the event and has also wanted to underline how much the relationship is important between town administration and Diocese: “I think that these 1600 years from decree her to her of 416 has been honourable from the cultural point of view through a magnificent initiative that has been that of the exposure to the civic museum of the Consoli Palace.
We must not forget the liturgical days of August that have enriched the religious-spiritual panorama, but also cultural of the city, in which we have assisted of the interventions of ideological character, spiritual, doctrinal of big thickness.

I am thankful to the Diocese and all those people that have accompanied this special year in all of its liturgical and spiritual moments. I have appreciated the proposal to bring before together these initiatives, a lot of which have been fruit of the perfect synergy between Commune and Diocese. The letter has represented her an important moment of the liturgical history and the relationship between the pontiffs and the Dioceses of our nation.
I believe that there was no cherry on the cake better than this splendid gift that represents a great ability to interpret the city, its traditions and at the same time it allows us to give an indelible sign to one special year that we have lived with great share and an involvement full of the city”.

The bishop Mario Ceccobelli has thanked all for this gift and for its importance: “Thanks because this work is a small treasure, we are appraising for finding her correct position. Gubbio is a city that has known how to manifest the arts, this is the last work of an artist of our city. It is the work of a precious institution Una Luna that brings forth this art.
I thank for heart for this work that will remain to us as connection with the famous letter of pope Innocenzo I. My graces it also goes to the town administration for the support for this intense year. We guard this treasure that is delivered us today, the treasure of an ancient tradition, of the faith because faith allows us these connections and to feel us contemporary to that times”.
As the president of the association Una Luna Anna Buoninsegni has explained, the work, produced by the amanuensis Roberta Giacconi, it is composed from 16 pages on cotton paper that has made them ancient. An ink has been used colour cuttlefish and the retouches they are decors that reproduce in way it specifies the original one.
